Great area, good toilets, lots of room

Nice spot with good toilets and cell service near a lovely old bridge. Make some time (about 2 hours) to visit the nearby caves. One of the highlights of my trip!

Excellent campsite with perfectly clean toilets. The site next to the historic bridge is beautifully situated. It easily and comfortably accommodates 20 campers. There were 6 of us there overnight.

Great site. Fits probably about 20 campers I’d guess. Flushing toilets were awesome because as much as enviro loos are always appreciated - flushing loos are the best. We had the place to ourselves so we bbq’d outside on our van’s grill. Beautiful night and the drive to get down here from Te Anau is fantastic. Still lots of beautiful mountains and rolling hills. Quiet lesser road. It’s a bit more off the beaten track without being too far off. Still bitumen. Highly recommend.
