Stayed 27-28/2 - this was our favourite camp of the whole trip! Such a beautiful site next to the beach with loads of spaces, so peaceful + all the facilities were great (cold showers but they're bearable!). Super friendly man who checked us in :)
Was staying up the road but found this camp. Right on water but mostly no view from sites. Heaps of room & several toilets & a cple of showers. No power. $17pp. Looks great value.
Good and affordable place to stay on your way up north. Would recommend!
Very decent place to stay would recommend
Hidden gem. Friendly staff. Clean shower and toilet. Plenty of space and privacy, able to pull up basically wherever you want and access to beach within metres. Must go to Mapua wharf live music at Golden Bear, great and cheap fish and chips on the pier. Village bakery in the morning a must. Alberta's great for coffee.
What a hidden gem, beautiful places at the waterside. It's $17 p.p.p.n., but the wildlife and beach is well worth it! We saw so many beautiful birds and shells on the beach and there was a lot of space where you can pick a spot by yourself.
Really lovely place, at the beach with amazing sunset. Lots of space, toilet, pay afterwards if you arrive after office ours which is an absolutely amazing service. Would definitely recommend this place.
Large campsite with plenty of pitches and clean flush toilets. Beautiful location by the sea.
Nice quiet campsite with toilets, cold showers, and a playground. $16pp for an unpowered site
Lovely spot, very quiet and super cheap. Clean flushing toilets, water to fill up and dump station. We got a quiet spot looking out to sea - just magic. Would recommend.
