Terrible campsite. The website says 30nzd per night but that is per person. Not worth the money. Run down. Holes in the floor of the toilet shower block. We where the only van pitched. Now I know why. A large group of school children staying in the dorm right next to pitches. Kicked a rugby ball at our van 3 times with force. Very noisy. We had booked for 3 nights.spoke to reception. Agreed a refund for 2 nights. Moved on. Got an email later to say they would not refund, 120nzd lo

Weird atmosphere. If I would have been on my own, I wouldn’t feel safe. A lot of campers which stays for longen time. Toilets and showers were fine. But the site gave me a strange feeling.

nobody to check us in, didn't tell us where we could camp, the place looked completely different to the photos and website. as two women going, we felt very unsafe and left quickly

Essentially just a car park. Showers and a toilet included, kitchen ain’t great.

I don't recommend this place at all. There are lots of people living in their campervans and tents occupying the majority of the place. The place for camping is really dirty, rubbish, lids of bottles and even shit from an old dog living there as well. For the fee paid for two people, tent site is it really overpriced and the atmosphere here is not pleasant at all.

I chose this place because it is close to the pier, but the campsite is really small, and the environmental facilities are not proportional to the price. There are many resident RVs occupying most of the seats. When we arrived, there was only a parking space with charging piles in the corner. What surprised me was that the bathroom was very clean and the shower room was hot enough
