Amazing camp site, plenty of picnic tables, hot showers, clean toilets, and 2 sinks for dishes. There is also a recycling and general waste bin on site but if you have a cassette toilet there is a dump station just across the road. Only con really is the ground is a bit uneven so something to consider if you have a air tent.

Camping site itself is nice, but toilets and showers full of dirt and mold.

The campground is locked, but you'll receive the code by email as soon as you pay and register on the website. Cleaned bathrooms and free hot showers. Close to the seafront and to the park's trails. I could not ask for any better.

Great wee campground easy location, great to have toilet and hot showers, neither shower locked and black mould could do with a scrub, for the price, feel it would cover maintenance. Rubbish and recycling available, sloped ground with a few flatter areas, meet our needs and would stay again.

Nice enough patch of grass for the tent with picnic tables etc but the toilet block is pretty horrifying and is in desperate need of repairs. Possibly the worst I’ve been in across my 6 weeks camping. I had to use the female half as the male showers were so bad they were coned off. I’m all for supporting DOC and local council camps, and pay without fail (online before arrival in this case), but for the fee paid this was very disappointing! Only bonus was a good hot water pressure in shower... Although it’s the first time I’ve worn jandals to shower during my whole trip!

Had a very warm welcome, although I didn’t make a booking online, which you should do to receive the code for the gate. Good hot shower and got chocolate and an apple from the lovely lady!

We just turned up pretty late, Bev was there and welcomed us in, super nice lady she turned the hot water on for us and we had the best shower ever!! It was only us there such a peaceful spot and friendly lady! We loved it here!! Thanks bev
