Nice area, friendly staff that we met, paid through an honesty box or bank transfer. There were only 2 other vans here when I stayed so it was pretty quiet. Toilets are relatively clean- just a few spider and webs but that’s all.

Loved waking up here- went in the easter holidays in 2025 and we're only 2 vehicles parked here. The beautiful sunrise was amazing and at night went for a walk and found a glow worm cave- there were signs on side of road. What a wonderful quiet place- for $5 a night what more could you ask for.

Very, very basic. Honestly, if no campers were there, you might just drive past — it’s basically a car park for a local football club. Tent-only folks could even pitch on the pitch, which would probably be fun. Facilities? Truly basic, nothing fancy. Pro: fresh cucumbers and apples thoughtfully provided. Location is nice with decent views, though tight spacing means you won’t enjoy them fully. Quick walk to a pub is a huge plus. You can borrow toys like a football or cricket bat.

A more than acceptable place to spend the night. Ground reasonably level, toilet facilities were clean but basic, an outdoor sink for washing dishes, and large field for children to play. A comfortable and quiet night but today was full so arrive slightly early to be sure of a space.

Great spot, huge oval for activities and some sports equipment available to borrow while you’re here. One toilet in each which is flushable and clean with lights. It’s $5 per person per night and there is an honesty box setup to help maintain the facilities.

Nice quiet spot with basic clean facilities (sink, toilet, water from stream) for the level of service. Beautiful view of the mountains! Cash only
