Easy walk. Have to keep going to second bridge, it then loops back to carpark.
Great hike! Easy with magnificent scenery. Worth it even in the rain, although the water remained a beautiful blue.
Beautiful easy walk, nice viewing platforms along the way! Enjoyable and worth the pictures!
Gorgeous and you can take your time so perfect for all ages! About 45 minutes to do the full loop in a slow pace. Feels like you’re on another planet.
Blue waters very picturesque. The water was quite still and low, maybe more milky after a little rain. Go when it’s sunny if you can to get the full blue effect or hang around if it’s cloudy to see how the colour changes when the sun moves behind the clouds. Insect repellent a must, and do not swim - the currents there are so dangerous
Lovely blue water, and an easy, well-maintained short walk. Says 1 hour but took us just about 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. We started at 10am (in summer) but there were still some shadows over the water. Probably best to go around midday/early afternoon.
Excellent place. We were able to get in. One of my favorites on the south island
Short walk but lovely, 2020 has seen DOC put in a second bridge so this is now a circular walk Stunning blue water, would love to see it in full force as well, worth a second trip after the rains I am sure
Short walk but definitely worth the stop!!
Nice wee walk with beautiful blue water. Worth a drive
