If you have time to go to Piha beach, so the 45 minutes walk up south and finish by this nice waterfall and the beach very close, I can tell you it worth it. We did everything in an afternoon, had a picnic at the parking next to the waterfall (there are 2 picnic tables), the beach is great, and we saw some really beautiful yellow flowers everywhere which made it special. They say no campervan but it only means no really really high campervan, you can absolutely go with your van even high roof.
Hmmm. Travelled a long way to see this but never saw any warnings that the road is not suitable for campervans until too late and have to back off the narrow nasty intersection in dangerous conditions. Well done Auckland Council, your poor planning, distaste for campers, and communication is plain for all to see yet again.
Nice quiet place
Beautiful waterfall. Short way from the parking lot.
Not as nice as the Kite Kite Falls, but you can do that while you're in Piha. Only 5 minutes from the Carpark and easy to find.
Awesome waterfall - not hard to get to either.
Amazing!!!! So happy we came!!! There are signs at the car parking for the waterfall! Love it!!
Follow the main road behind the parking lot. Then turn left. 5 minute easy walk, definitely worth to see. You can swim there as well.
Worth it! The track starts a little bit ahead the parking spot and to the left
Short track to a pretty waterfall. A film crew shooting here today!
