To be honest. When we arrived at 9pm, we were happy that we found free space in Tauranga. But something was wrong on this place. We were scared of robbery, because this place is creepy. Today morning the police was here for check out. Obviously it’s not safe place. We were lucky. But we didn’t sleep well.

Not ideal to stay here it’s a isolated spot more friends or other like minded people is best situation it’s an awkward entry into the site just remember to indicate and keep left coming off the motorway, slowly move to the entry, if you miss it you might need to go right around the block? good advice!! Lock your gear up and be aware of your surroundings

I’ve always liked this spot but there was a fight there tonight and police were needed. They advised me not to stay there as it is not a safe place.

Basic spot! No bathrooms, kind of an awkward turn off of the exit ramp of the highway, and close to the road... But a nice flat spot and nobody else there.
