Avoid it at all costs, it's beautiful during the day, but at night you can be robbed, and there are fights and assaults. There's a gang of drug addicts who live in the forests.

Run away unless you want to have something stolen (car phone or other) or be attacked….

Avoid at all costs!!! It's certainly a beautiful place, but you're not safe here… A homeless encampment has been set up in the forest, and they come to look at your vehicle and ask for your phone and other badly damaged, abandoned vehicles. It's chilling; it only took us an hour to leave!

Very nice place, except that there are people drinking and making trouble in the parking lot!! We had to leave... because we were not reassured and we could not sleep

This is a beautiful spot, great for parking up to have a meal and take a stroll along the waterfront. However, the traffic from the highway was quite loud, and we were disturbed throughout the night by loud people arriving and being a disturbance from 1am-4am who were drinking/partying on a Tuesday night. I recommend during the day, but not during the night!

Is actually always empty, if you are not afraid of the dark and the matter has a good campground.

The issue with this place is the homelessness I noticed many vehicles that are homing people here, it’s a very nice place to stay, however, my vehicle was severely damaged here by three gang members who intended to do damage to me and take my property, I only know they belong to this area because they telling me about the Marae they belong to is directly opposite to the the site. It was unfortunate for this to happen as I was originally enjoying the few hours I stayed here, no one else was present at the time of the attack so these mugs are watching!

A little noisy at night but could sleep good anyway... Just the noise from the road. Not too much going on here, and no toilets... But good to stay anyway. Space only for 2 campers or 3 really tight maybe...
