Absolutely fantastic place. Tangerines and windblown avocados free to collect. A lovely walking track. Clean toilets ( couldn't get the lights to work at night so have a torch). I arrived about midday friday. Only one other camper there. I have an 8 metre caravan and fitted easily. This place is on my love list!

Beautiful campsite by the sea, with a view of Mt. Manganui. Two clean toilets, space for up to 12 vehicles. We arrived at 5:30 pm and there were only three campers there. Mobile phone reception was good. Quiet, and if you come at the right time of year, you can pick up tangerines from the ground.

Good spot, park is dog friendly and so are the locals. Site is surrounded by fruit and avo trees, which are free to consume, though avos are windfall harvest only. I picked up a bowl of grapefruit, mandarins, and oranges. Toilets were pretty nasty whilst i was there, not sure if because it was the weekend and council only cleans week days perhaps? Bin was also overflowing with dog poo bags, so looks like infrequently emptied. New coffee cart round the corner run by Ben is really good, tue-sun.

Great place to stay. Clean toilets with a sick to wash hands. Very calm.

Perfect spot with up to 12 parking lots for campers an clean toilets. I was alone with just one more camper

Clean toilets and open 24/7. Lots of parking lots. Great view and walks along the water and in the small park. Quite area but very beautiful! Felt safe here, because security was driving here at night.

The toilets were very clean and open all night. There was also a water fountain where you can fill up with drinking water.

Amazing free site, beautiful trees, water and very clean toilets. Felt safe and nice vibe

Extremely clean place with 2 toilets, sink directly in the toilet cubicle. Large park right next door with direct access to the sea. 12 places are available. Orange trees and avocado trees for picking up fallen fruit.

Endroit calme, toilettes et eau potable
