There are plenty of parking spaces. Look at the sign above the restroom building to see which spaces are allowed. The restrooms are clean. There's a handwashing facility. A quiet night!

Lots of space, with toilets and drinking water. Only ones there last night but was pretty noisy. At 2am the security drove by in a loud car with music on, then around 3am kids playing in the skate park then 5am the bin man ? all good otherwise

Super free camp! Large parking next to the sports field and skate park. We were the only ones for the three nights we stayed. The toilets are very clean. Not the most beautiful free camp of Omokoroa but the one we preferred.

Had people yelling obscenities at us as they drove past, Council came and explained that locals had complained about us parking there because it is a 'sports ground'......Dont make it a freedom camping spot if you dont want it to be camped at!!! Wont be going back.

Nice big parking spot but we had council on our case after locals complained we had our larger rig parked sideways so we didn’t stick out. Really only good for people who can fit in a standard carpark. Locals speed in the carpark too and had abuse yelled at us while sitting outside doing some washing. Such a shame as there’s a great skate park next to this spot and an awesome looking playground being built. Would be the perfect spot for families if they were more welcoming.

Very quiet location. Three vehicles and still plenty of room. Supermarket and laundromat just along the road. We love this spot !

Very quiet location, despite the many places available we were alone. Clean toilets, open at night and lighting area. Good location compared to those within Tauranga.
