We spent our last night there before returning our campervan and heading back to France 🥲. Besides the fact that the campsite was spotless, we wanted to mention how incredibly helpful the person we dealt with was. They did us a huge favor. We had locked our campervan with the keys inside and all our belongings inside, just before returning it and catching our flight! This person found us a locksmith in no time, and they saved us! 🙏

It was a nice stay, but unfortunately there was a car race in the evening next to the campground. So it was noisy. Apart from that very clean. Showers are warm but nothing special.

Very nice place, and very friendly personel. Cosy path to center of Kaiapoi and nice hiking path along the river. Facilities simple, but well functioning

We arrived late due to issues picking up the vehicle but the team emailed to say they had left us a site map & WiFi instructions securely outside the office, very helpful. Good & clean facilities - free & hot Showers. Shame we couldn’t stay longer to try the golf.

Receptionist was not so nice

A very nice quiet grassy campground. The powered sites are flat and large and the staff friendly and helpful. The shower block is clean and the shower stalls are larger with good pressure and easy to control the temperature. No timer and no coins needed👍

I arrived late and the office was closed. For late arrivals there is a chart on the wall showing available sites. You just choose one and pay in the morning. Staff are friendly and the camp is peaceful. It was great to have a hot shower after driving all day!

A little nugget. We scour the campsites in New Zealand and this one is undoubtedly in our top 3. All the features are present for an unbeatable price. Adorable staff ready to do anything to help their customers and above all a golf course in the campsite with clubs available.

Staff was friendly and check-in went smoothly. We were here in August (winter) and therefore the showers were too cold for us. The house where the toilets and showers are is cold and uncomfortable. Kitchen looks okay and has most of the things you need. Shopping opportunities are a few minutes' drive away!
