Great amenities and plenty of sites available despite no prior booking. 10 minute walk to Spencer Beach for an amazing sunrise

Nice and clean facilities. Went in winter, there’re little people.

Brand new amenities! Really nice hot showers and great kitchen. There are a few pans but I can’t see any plates and cutlery so I suggest bringing some.

Humongous sites. Very new and fancy facilities, and a reasonable price. Note that although the kitchen has Westinghouse ovens, there are no utensils to use - even tea towels are BYO.

I used this campsite for my last day of my trip. Perfect for this. Nice clean facility with lots of room. Beach within walking distance. Nice showers, laundry, kitchen etc. A nice place to get organized before flying home.

The last stop, a large campsite but not crowded, a lot of toilets and bathrooms, and a picnic park next door, where we cleaned the car, and a gas station and gas station nearby, which was convenient the next day in Christchurch.

Stayed 1 March 2026 Huge camping area with lots of grass and space. Excellent camp kitchen and bathrooms with great hot showers. Only negative is the distance to CBD

Fantastic camp ground with really large sites and plenty of room. New amenities are great although attention to detail on the cleaning will show over time, less than a month old and were quite dirty in parts. Great facilities, shop and pedal cars. A camp that suits all ages, teens were even happy 😊

Really big park unit, all the facilities are clean and adequate. A small forest track to the beach. Friendly crew. Recommend!
