Shower for $7 per person, clean bathroom, hot water and dry hair.
The bathroom facilities are good. It's nicely decorated and there are modern hairdryers. However, what was completely unacceptable was that the price on-site was higher than online, which was met with the response of "Do you want to book online then?"
Hot unlimited showers, big parking spaces, medium sized kitchen with all the pots and pans, newly refurbished bathrooms (so can discount some of the bathroom comments). Would stay again
Ignore negative comments. Finishing touches are a little rushed yes but showers are hot clean and powerful, loads of shelving and hooks in shower and cubicle, mirrors and hair dryers. 2 min walk to town. Friendly staff. Sites are fine grassy with enough room for a table at the back if wanted. Would 100% stay again.
This is our third stay at a powered site at this campsite. We are always happy to return, and we appreciate that the facilities continue to improve with each visit. We look forward to staying here again in the future. $50 for two people is excellent value.
We stayed one night in our campervan because there was no space available at the free campsites in town. The experience couldn't have been more disappointing. The communal facilities, especially the bathrooms, are extremely dirty (so dirty that they haven't been cleaned for days). The kitchen is small and unusable. The campervan pitches are extremely close together, and the ground isn't level on many of them. It feels like they're only interested in making money. Very noisy.
Facilities all looked to be somewhat under renovation but still nice enough. Showers, lots of toilets and places to cook there if needed. Not sure of some negative reviews are outdated but definitely worth checking out and not overly expensive if the free spots around are all taken up. But definitely enough camper spots available without booking when we arrived at 2:30.
The only place we found that day without a reservation. Expensive. We didn't love it, but it was okay. It had a kitchen and unlimited hot showers. The water tasted bad.
The campsite was extremely crowded and absolutely unsuitable for trailers. The kitchen was a makeshift shed with only two cooking spots, and there was a queue.
Friendly staff, new toiletfacilities and in Walking distance to Beach and town. Spots are a bit Barrier but ok for a medium RV. Perfekt for staying in Kiarakoura😀
