Good location to sleep on the beach, there is the road next door but very little passage. clean toilets but closed at night.. we stayed there only one night
Arrived around 2 pm, plenty of space, super clean bathroom (closed at night but at 7 AM was open and just cleaned). The view was stunning, safe place and nice people around.
Nice freedom camp. 16 designated spaces. Two rubish bins. Clean flushing toilet. Picnic bench.
Cool spot by the beach. At this time of the year plenty space available. Toilets close at night and only open at 8h.
17 pitches facing the beach in a fairly quiet area. A toilet is available and quite clean. A maximum of 3 nights is allowed, but some leniency is shown for longer stays. The area is quite safe and peaceful. Many campers who work during the week park their vans here.
Lovely stay right on the water with gorgeous views for sunset- sunrise you’ll want to take a 30 min walk or 5 min ride up the hill for the first sunrise in the world! Outstanding place, scenic and quiet. Highly recommend!
We stayed here on a Friday night and everything went well, we had no issues. There were several vans like us, mainly couples so we felt very safe. Great toilets just next to the cafe. During the day it is a visited place by the locals who come here to drink coffee. One toilet was open at 10 pm. There are cold showers in front of the beach.
If not for hoons and goons, the spot would be great. I stayed on a Tuesday night. Loud music, loud cars and the ship logging next door woke me through the night. Cooks Landing is a great local tourist site just 10 mins walk away. I recommend a visit. Just one night for me.
Parking lot next to the road, plenty of space for campervans, noone bothered us, flushing toilets very close, view on the beach, picnic tables all around , nice guy gave us bags and pans for cooking for free 😁
Arrive early enough, even if there are several places they are taken quickly. Sublime camping spot on the beach, very clean toilets and showers nearby. Be careful not to drink water
