We arrived late around 9:30pm after visiting the longest name sign etc. Before google said that the scenic reserve is closed since more than a year but as we only needed the parking we went anyways. Once there as it closed/abandoned we saw the grass so high and with just a creepy empty car in middle of the field so we left. Not recommended unless you arrive with plenty of light to explore a bit. Arrived on a rainy evening in a rear-wheel drive campervan and got bogged in the mud. Very little service with 2degrees sims. Was barely able to make a call to roadside assist to get winched out. Campsite is at the bottom of a valley beside a one-way bridge. Highly recommend avoiding in wet season.

Nice area and dry enough in the summer. Next to a nice walk but not reception out there.

Only flat area was muddy and boggy. Might be OK when dry and hard but very little flat land. Would not bother with this one again.

No flat parking, slippery and muddy after rain.

Lovely little spot on a quiet road, nice DOC walk through the native bush.

Lovely spot. Really nice to sleep. Very quiet. Can use toilets but quite dirty. No water. Little one hour forest walk to do. Really enjoyed.

Be careful!!! Don’t go down on the left side-stay on the right and higher part! Some really friendly neighbors helped us out with their 4x4 drive because we got stuck in the mud

Nice spot in the green nature, really quiet (just on our own). The toilets could use a big cleaning (spiders and bugs) but thanks for this free camp anyway !

Very pretty/peaceful place with a cute apple tree and small stream, however unusable as the toilets look like something out of a horror film.
