We had no difficulty driving our 7 metre van to this camp

There is a small DOC camp prior to Everetts Campsite called Everetts Ford Campsite. This is before the river ford and slip prone section of road but still at the end of a steep gravel road. Many campers in 2wd cars during summer including us. It's a lovely rough grass area with easy river access including a beach area (commercial rafting operators start there). 2 long drops and water from river. Great camp with regular visits from DOC ranger and rural fire prevention.
