Only us for the night. Quiet, neat and clean. Toilet very clean too, with paper. Sinks but NO drinking water and no Light. G4/5 reception.

Beautiful DOC campsite! Stayed 26Apr26. Close to lake so sand flys are present but its a beautiful place! Rather popular maybe with its proximity to Wanaka, had a few late arrivals in the night with a total of 9 sites taken even though we were first to arrive at 4pm. Awesome little sites tucked into bush or on lake side. Tent sites on grass available also. Beautiful spot! Basic toliet block with sinks attached outside for cleaning. Has good phone reception.

Great place, a DOC with clean toilets and large swimming pools. Some locations are smaller than others perfectly suited for vans. The view of the lake is top. Very few sand flies, there is much worse elsewhere. And in addition you have 4G network

I was there 13.4. And everything was fine! Very nice campsite with sink, clean flush toilets, shelter and views on lake. Appreciate possibility of booking exact number of camping spot.

What a shame... beautiful place. The pitches are far too small. The map shows 3 pitches, but there are only 4. Despite having a reservation, we drove on. We don't like crowded camping.

Very nice spot to spend the night. Don't forget to book in advance!

Sites are numbered and must be pre booked on the hard to use Doc site. Very tight sites, 7 to 10, for large RVs and caravans, but OK for an overnighter. More sites for smaller vehicles. Clean and good flush loos, well maintained. Great location right on the lake.

Typical DOC site. A few keas, tonnnns of sand flies which is to be expected of the west coast. Nice views.

Really nice looking campsite. HOWEVER is extremely confusing with the bookings, and reserving a spot. Tents are only allowed in the middle grass area, and the online map DOESNT match the map that is at the information on site. It looks like the layouts changed, but not updated online map. To check the reserved van spots (there are no reservation signs) you have to go online and try to book and it’ll tell you whats available and what you can book. So extremely confusing, and really badly set up!
