Cutest tunnel ever. My children were in awe. Not as scary as some have said, drove through in a 7 seater with ease! Just amazing!

Very cool tunnel, but note that if you drive over the forgotten highway, you have a longer stretch of dirt road ahead of you.

Not that scary as I expected after reading the comment below me. If you don't try to get through with a huge truck you'll be alright. There seem to be some delays soon. (watch out for the sign next to the road in whangamomoana)

Scary as hell. Only way through the mountain so if you're driving the forgotten highway you'll pass through it... Just hold your breath.
