Felt safe, beautiful area. Was incredibly windy but that was the weather warnings more than the location. Toilets needed a clean but fine enough at the end of the day
Dry season spot: huge place! My plan was to stay here but it was super muddy with lots of tracks of people either getting near bogged or scooting through having a look(!?) I dropped the rating down as this area seems to be better suited to the dryer seasons. Looks like a few long termers have established some spaces, but otherwise, it would be some stunning views here to camp next to.
very pretty and lots of space. only minus is that it is veery windy
Enormous freecamp space, in the heart of nature, the sun sets early behind the mountains, peaceful and safe space! Dry toilets nearby with toilet paper and some garbage bags. I recommend, very nice!
Heaps of spaces and felt very safe. Lovely spot by the river and clean toilets. 10/10 Amazing free spot.
Awesome quiet spot with plenty of room for campers of all sizes, long drop toilets are clean.
Beautiful camp in the countryside. Nice places, dry toilets and a beautiful river right next to it. Not much signal there. Highly recommended, we stayed 3 nights.
This was probably our fav free camping spot on the north island! Pretty hills as your surroundings, lots of space and grass, picnic tables, the stream is lovely. Long drop toilet obviously got a bit smelly, but other than that it’s clean and everything seems well taken care of. No complaints!
Great spot. A lot of family's ,but quit. Unfortunately the weather was not fine to drive in the river, if not beautiful. Toilets are very dirty. Single women felt safe
A lot pf space and very quiet
