Great location, just a 1 min walk to the beach. Space for about 6-7 large camper vans. Near a toilet. No other facilities but we knew that so was ok.

Beautiful and peaceful spot. The beach is right behind the dunes. You practically have the beach and the sea to yourself. I highly recommend it.

Nice spot right next to beach (over the dunes). Good toilets. There are some "local homeless" parked at the back in their vans but are friendly (as are their dogs). The council dude who checks on freedom campers asked a van to angle park so more people could stay the night and the van driver told him to eff off. People, there's no cause to be jerks to those just doing their jobs. Kindness costs little - put yourselves in other people's shoes, honestly. P.S. prettiest beach in NZ :)

Far corner of parking lot dedicated to staying over night. Currently 9 vans/cars here and it's about full. Toilets clean and beach access right by. Armourguard man came around about 18:30 to check certificates and note down Regos. If you're not in the signed area they'll move you on.

Picnic tables, 2 toilets and space for a couple of vans in the designated camping area. You can watch the sunset and walk along the beach and chill out here. Lovely spot

Mega beautiful beach. Toilets were ok. Would stay here again.
