Great campsite. However, you shouldn't pitch your tent too close to a tree. We were woken up in the night by a possum that wanted to explore the roof of our camper. The toilets were clean and the shower is functional, although it takes a while due to the low water flow.

Nice campsite, lovely setting. Showers were good - they’re cold and have a cubicle so you can have privacy. We had phone signal where we were parked.

Good open DOC site, loads of room. Book online before you get there as no signal and it's online payments only. Road is pretty hard on the suspension so take your time. Beach access only 5 mins walk and it's lovely. Flush toilets are a plus!

Near the wonderful beach with cold shower and toilets. Good for people who are satisfied with basics and like nature. We had no phone signal.

Very nice campsite! Would definitely recommend to stay there. There are flush toilets and cold outdoor showers and water fountains. But you need to boilthe water before using it. We used also a filter bottle, which worked very well for us. The beach is very near and the stars at night are incredible.

It's pretty and cheap but the shower is cold. This camp is useful because you can do a break in the middle of the peninsula

Honestly, the enclave is so wonderful that I didn't care about the rest... I was alone, only with the little animals that were there. In the morning I took a short walk to the beach, wonderful!

I paid $16 for 3 toilets without a flush and cold shower there are no rubbish bins and the signal is low for smartphones. The toilets with flush looks like they haven’t been clean since the campground opend… Really disappointed!

Beautiful place, short walk to the beach. No one went to check the payment. Toilets had paper and there was water available. Many wasps be careful, I had to run to the closest medical centre due to allergic reaction (never had before).

One of our favourite campsites up north. Not too busy so we had lots of space by the river. 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach
