Ok, the color is really uncommon and beautiful, take a 5min stop to see it. In my opinion don't drive just to see it, if you stay near for the night ok pass by, but don't go there only for seeing it 😊
The water is red, it’s reallly cooool stuff. The campground is near by, so would have been a nice stay if the wasn’t raining 😢
This lake is not polluted or has chemicals. As some have mistakenly reviewed as. The colour of the lake is caused by the peat soil. Lovely to swim in and to wash off the sand and salt from the beach over the hill.
Amazing place great for a swim and we were told by locals the mud from the bottom of lake cures skin conditions
Amazing!
The lake is very polluted - but interesting colour of chemicals throughout.
It is polluted with musty smell ☹️ but the campsite next to the lake is nice!
Great marketing so you can stop here! However, if you go through to Ramp Road heading to the beach, that’s a great place to cook and chill with diversity of shells in the sand
Attention !!! It is no longer possible to swim or set foot in the lake... Blue algae is causing the lake to die due to people using shampoo and shower gel to wash in it...
Beautiful, small lake, which has something in itself by the discoloration. If you are in the area, you can take it with you. In my opinion, but not worth a detour.
