Very nice place but I find it a pity that there is no drinking water and especially no trash can, so maybe it's that we're not in high season yet but it's a shame because we have to take 1h15 to throw out our trash cans and replenish our water supply. Otherwise absolutely beautiful! Breakfast on the beach with a big sun ?
Great location and the facilities were very clean. Only thing is that we had wasps all over the place but they were just flying all over none of us got bitten. Bit of a worry camping with small children. Beautiful views and staff was very friendly
A really nice spot, watch out for mosquitoes we spent an hour in the van (not exaggerating) trying to kill them all. Eaten alive! Various toilet blocks - some a lot nicer than others. Need some sort of automatic lights on a few blocks.
Breathtakingly beautiful bay. Road in is pretty steep and slushy in parts. DoC and iwi collaborate to operate cool camp.
We came here for lunch after visiting the light house. Was a lovely place for a swim as well.
Great little location. It was good waking up and listing to waves and having a morning stroll along the beach.
A beautiful place to stay and to do the track to Cape Reinga and swin in the bay :) worth it!
Was alright my son went to hospital because he got bitten by a wasp
Great beach still 13$ per person Definitely worth it?
Beautiful Beach. We were so happy to stay at the campsite: quiet, crystal clear water, almost a private Beach (we were the only ones swimming) and so many stars ar night. Beware: a lot of mosquitos and wasps.
