Nice stay, pretty clean washroom and quiet!
Great spot. Quiet and lots of space. One long drop/flush toilet. Next to Clutha gold trail
Very nice spot, I can confirm the toilets are surprisingly clean and nice. The only downside is that there’s this constant noise (like a generator) coming from the hill that doesn’t stop.
No/very little phone service but really nice site! It was decently busy with a lot of room still ! Didn't go for a swim but looked lovely. The portaloos were beautiful
Lots of space available but not all even. Clean portaloos on site. Pond for swimming, kayaking. Nice, clean, quiet site
One of the best spots where we stayed. The lake is perfect for swimming and the toilet is super small but surprisingly nice with paper, water and soap.
Nice Campsite at the lake. Plenty of space for a lot of cars, so you can also avoid the muddy parts when it's raining. Well functioning toilet with flush and running water as well as desinfectant - so far the best toilet at Freedom Camping out of 4. Phone signal sometimes is a bit weak, but still alright.
Great spot for a great sleep. Beautiful site with the gorgeous pond and river near by. One drop toilet, lots of spaces to park and only a few campers there. No cell service really, a tiny bit near the road. Beautiful views and would definitely stay again
One of the best free camping spots found, beautiful walk from campsite to Roxburgh town alongside the Clutha through the gorge takes just over 1 hour and very easy terrain/track as its part of the Clutha Gold Bike Trail. Stunning!
Very nice spot on a nice lake (pond). Former gold mining site. Definitely would recommend.
