We didn’t book on line we just turned up after talking to Christine, she was friendly on the phone. This campsite was an absolute nugget, well worth a visit. It was tidy and the facilities were excellent. We did not use the showers but they looked good, although they were coin operated!
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was clean, beautifully maintained, and it was clear how much care and thought had gone into creating such a lovely place. Christine was an absolutely wonderful host. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to stay.

Spent a night here for $50 powered site for the 2 of us. Beautiful quiet park & everything clean. Still not right to charge $2 for a shower when you've paid a fee to stay 🙄 The guy who checked us in couldnt give me a price for an unpowered site.
Such a great spot. So homely and cared for area. Clean and tidy and kids will not be bored. Love we found this by chance it was a great spot and very well priced.
What a gem! Probably now my favourite Top 10 park, so clean, immaculate grounds, friendly staff, well Christine the owner really & such a reasonable price. Well worth leaving the highway, crossing the river to find.

Out of all the 9 camp grounds we've stayed at so far in the South Island this has been the best. Felt like home. Very nice grounds, great quiet location and super clean, modern facilities. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
An immaculate camp site - the cleanest showers and kitchen we have come across in our NZ tour! A beautiful setting and the whole park is really well maintained and cared for. Hats off to Christine who runs the place.
