Great night here! (19th October). I came 8pm and there were a lot of slots. Nice campsite next to the lake
Very good spot to sleep with a nice view of the lake. Toilets + phone signal (might be a little slow) We arrived at 4pm in October and there was still space to park.
What a place…! Stay here if you’re around and you’ll love it.
A beautiful campsite on lakes edge. Lake was chilly but family swam. Toilets clean and sanitizer supplied. Returned on way back from Queenstown. Beautiful sunset. Highly recommend.
Great place to stay. Toilets. We parked closer to the road and the noise was fine. Still had a pretty view of the lake. Plenty of spaces when we rocked up at 8pm. Recommend
The best campsite we have been to so far. The views of the lake and mountains were absolutely spectacular. The water was so clean and we saw quite a few people swimming there. There were two drop toilets with hand sanitiser supplied. They did get a bit smelly. Plenty of spaces to park the van, some more level than others. Some tracks were a bit muddy. Minimal road noise.
Amazing views of the lake. Toilets. Lots of space. Not too much noise from the road. 10/10 for a freedom site!
Beautiful spot not too far from Queenstown with a good view of the lake. Not many flat spots and the bathrooms seem to be serviced infrequently, but an excellent place to camp for the night nonetheless.
Half dirty bathroom, when it rains it becomes a bit dangerous to stumble over the car and has few flat spaces to park.
Stayed here in early August, and still had quite a few vans. If you want one of the level spots right on the beach, then arrive early. Beautiful views across the lake. By the road, but did not hear any traffic noise. Toilets clean, and some phone signal. Definitely recommend.
