Access to this track is not from Lovers Leap Rd like Google says, it’s on the other side of the river on Rees Valley Rd. If the second Ford looks too deep/fast, you can park just before it, walk through the water, and the trail head is just around the corner. The first part of the trail is pretty much straight up the mountain but it’s a beautiful walk. Mining ruins very interesting. Incredible views from top of the scree hill - recommend hiking poles to get back down the scree

Everything goes high, is quite exhausting. But good views over the valley and the mountains :) Worth it. We were traveling alone. Which makes everything even better if no one else is there.

A good short walk (1.15 hour to the top, 50 minutes back to the "car park" (which is quite not really exist). There is a great view over mount earnstaw. At the end of the track there are educative signs which explains about the mine with the tools the miners actualy used, very interesting.

Stunning view from the top - it took us 2 hours up and down with a little break. Well worth the bumpy road. Be careful when you cross the little creeks with your car!
