Still no bridge as of 03/2025 sadly. Would need to cross the river, which I didn't dare.
Still closed
Promenade closed, the bridge collapsed with the floods.
Closed due to flooding ... Consult the doc site before coming.
Close road for the moment ....
Great forest walk. Only at the end you could see some nice view of the mountains. Just stop sometimes and listen to the singing birds and if you look closely you could even see lots of them. And hold tight on the bridge, it’s a scary one!?
We found a canon lens cap on our walk here. Its now hanging on the sign next to the suspension bridge :) lovely walk and viewpoint across the lake!
The last 10 km to get here is a gravel road with lots of potholes. There’s 2 ways to reach the lake, the 40 minute (shorter) way is more beautiful. PRO-TIP: if you go the shorter way, once you reach the lake lookout, keep walking on the trail and it will lead you through a thick forest of small trees that’s really beautiful, turn back at the next guide sign you see if you don’t want to do the long return.
Great hike through a beautiful forest to a beautiful lake. From the parking lot there is a well-maintained trail to the lake and back. The parking lot also has toilets.
Nice easy track. The lake is like a mirror
