closed, the lady looked outside for a moment, but did not think we were important enough.
The place looks very nice and cheap but the grass is full of sheep ship and I will not speak about the fly cause you couldn’t stay outside ! They gonna bite you alive.
Stayed here on Sunday 18th Feb. Beautiful peaceful surroundings by the river. Tavern was closed which was a real disappointment and the only reason we’d booked there in the first place. Would have been nice to know this in advance. Had to make do with a peanut butter sandwich and got bitten alive by the sandflies. Couldn’t wait to leave.
Beautiful campsite and lots of amenities for the price. However, there are endless sandflies and be careful of the wasps.
Nice owners, lovely pub up the hill and a beautiful, scenic place to stay. We left early in the morning without using the showers or making breakfast because of the horrific amount of sandflies that bit us everywhere. Would love to give a good review but we didn’t want to get out of the car anymore because of them.
Super beautiful, quiet spot, right on the river. Huge amount of space and no other campervans. Pay at the motel ($24 for our family), includes toilets and hot shower, no power. Bar and food available at the motel. No sandflies yet!!!

Sign says $12 for an unpowered site, this is not true, the lady demanded $24 for an unpowered site, outrageous price for a bare field with no amenities. Give this place a pass until they sort their prices out and stop lying on the cost
