This is a banned spot, check council site before visiting

The permitted zone isn't so clear, on the grassy shoulder next to the road. It's muddy in winter. There are only a few spots, and the area isn't completely straight. But you're facing the sea, and there's a beautiful black sand beach with a fantastic sunset! We didn't feel safe there alone, so we didn't stay overnight. No phone signal.

Great spot, beautiful scenery. Sunset absolutely beautiful colours. Beach is right by your doorstep, however not suitable for swimming. Rocky but only really visible at low tide. High tide hides the huge rocks, and looks deceiving nice, quite steep too. Cellular service poor. Ground not very even, road sealed but narrow.

Beautiful spot, Easy access to the beach. Sad a couple of 4wheeler idiots had to spoil it at 11.30pm.

Plenty of spaces and it was right on the water. No toilets so only self contained. Great spot!

Super nice place right by the sea, but without public toilets or garbage cans. Therefore only for self contained vans. But top recommendation!

You MUST be Certified Self Contained to stay here. No facilities at all. The ranger came by and gave out at least 4 freedom camping fines while I watched him. Please use the toilet in your vehicle, don't use the beach as your toilet.

Beautiful spot just right next to the beach. Enough space.
