SC only so didn't stay here

The toilet is still under construction, so right now it's not a very comfortable place to spend the night.

The toilet was demolished on 23rd Feb 2026 and is currently being rebuilt.

A lovely, quiet spot right by the lake and not far from the beach. The toilet had no light, but it was clean and in good condition. The internet was also good. According to the sign, there are six pitches, not just three.

Chill place to stop next to a lake with duckies and so on. Houses about so you feel safe as. Walk down to the beach in 10 min. Rhe pub 5 min walk a great place to hang with locals. Super friendly. Get some!

Great place for NSC enjoyed my stay

Very good spot for freedom camping, clean toilets and drinking water.

Nice place for NSC right next to the lake. Flush toilet had toilet roll but no soap or light and there was a water fountain too. Not far to walk to town or to the beach

Really nice spot for the night! clean toilets open all night and plenty of space for a few vans! It was very windy on the night we stayed but parking near to the fence/bushes helped a bit. Really close to the town and beach and you can follow the loop track all the way around to see all the local sights.

Great spot for a night or two. Don't forget your mosqito repellent though! The town is lovely, had a great organic coffee at the coffee and art shop, good homemade pie from the cafe. The movie theatre is unfortunately only open thursday to sunday, looks cute though. We took the loop walk and particularly enjoyed the clifftop gardens. Next to the grass area are also 2-3 spots on gravel/concrete when the grass area is wet.
