Absolute slice of heaven. Secluded enough to be private and quiet but still close enough to town in case of needs.

Absolutely amazing! Loved everything about this place

One of the best camping spots in all NZ! Hot showers and toilets, good little kitchen, incredible views of Mt Taranaki. We paid online then showed up at 12pm, nobody was there, but a sign said to find a spot and someone will come and check you in shortly - the owner came to say hello 5 hours later! Very friendly and had some lovely stories about the area. Stayed 2 nights, on the 1st night we had the whole site to ourselves which was great! Highly recommend this spot!

A quiet spot in the area. The kitchen is a bit basic, and the caravan can accommodate a maximum of two people, but it's sufficient. The sanitary facilities are excellent and clean. There's also a washing machine and a dryer. Use the high heat setting on the dryer, otherwise you'll have to dry your clothes twice.

We have had our most beautiful stay in NZ here. Super warmly and kindly received and in addition to good facilities we have been able to taste the local grass-fed meat of the owner with home-made roomba butter. The best steak from NZ. We have yet to drive back for again view of Mount Taranaki and a delicious piece of meat that the friendly owner has picked up especially for us. An absolute recommendation!

Great location and the manager is very nice. The location has three bathrooms, with baths and toilets in every one as well as a kitchen to cook and clean dishes. There’s also a washing machine and a dryer (each cost 4 dollars using coins). In general a very nice place.

Amazing! Great views of the mountain en only 15 min drive from north egmont visitor center where all the walks start. Plenty of space and there are powerd and non powerd sites. Grass ground for the non powerd. 3 flush toilets and 3 unlimited warm showers. Very clean and comfortabel. Also a Washer and dryer. There is een small kitchen but we did not use it. Paid 38 dollars for 2 persons non powerd. l would defenitly recommend staying here.

Okay for one night, I didn't need to cook, just need a place to park, toilet and warm shower. note: shower are with the toilets. Amazing view. no room to stay inside, small kitchen in a caravan.
