Great owner who was very helpful with information on Mount Taranaki. Lovely site and great facilities. Kitchen was big, and showers/toilets were good. Also has parrots onsite!
Great place to stay with good facilities.
Nice owner. We stayed the Standard lodge, because it was raining heavily. Has an equiped kitchen, a mattress but no bedding. Very clean compared to other campsites we've been at. You can also call them via Whatsapp, which was great for us because we only had an e-sim.
Beautiful campsite, on a clear day you can see mt taranaki behind. Facilities are good and staff are friendly. Would come again!
Best of the 3 campsites around helpful and handy owner, I locked myself out of my car, with the window slightly open he managed to help me open it with some tools, faster than waiting AA road assistance, thanks you 🤝 Otherwise, camp got a few rooms to stay, kitchen tv etc, if it's raining, parrot and other small bird, direct view of taranaki, I've try most camps around and this one got the most facilities to support you if you are camping in a tent or a small camper van. I stayed one night.
Very well maintained. Plenty of space. Lively view of the mountain on a sunny day. Got everything you need. From toilets shower, power, dump, water, etc 5-10 minute bike from town nearby.
A lot of funny things: pool, bar, music, 2 superclean and big kitchens, good showers, swimming pool but...the current of not so clean water, is not a lake. Had a beautifull evening spot on vulcano surrounded with red clouds. Payed 23$ single, no power
A wonderfully well-maintained campsite. I felt very comfortable. There is a pool, aviaries, and a lake for kayaking.
A nice campsite with a beautiful view. The campsite is still under construction. The places are large. It was very quiet with us, but when it is busy, they run out of showers and toilets. Recommended for 1 night. We pand NZD 50 for 2 persons with power.
Great view of the volcano, quiet and clean complex even with a pool
