Great spot to camp, but you do need the tide out to see the rocks
A must see if you are in the area!
Accessible only at one hour either side of low tide so plan accordingly and take gumboots. Lots of caves to explore but watch that time.
So easy to get to! So amazing to see!
Great place only we got trapped in the tide around 8pm. The river widens behind you and the current is usually very dangerous. We were rescued by a helicopter, but then learned from a local resident that there is an emergency route. He lies across from the elephant.
Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views. After walk enjoyed very tasty Burgers and Ice Cream.
We went there 10:30am (high tide coming today at 1pm), was fine on the way there but water rises reeeally quick! Way back the water was almost on our waist even though we spent only couple minutes there But supeeer nice one! :)
Great spot. Cafe and fish and chip pop up opened early February 2020.
Amazing! We went there at 2pm. Almost low tide.
Petite promenade sympa pour se dégourdir les jambes mais sans grand intérêt, ce sont juste des gros rochers sur la plage (l’éléphant a été détruit lors d’un tremblement de terre)
