Really cool bridge. If you're brave enough, you can stop in the middle and enjoy a nice view of Mt. Taranaki. According to DOC it's 24 m above the ground, but to me it felt like at least 100.
Really high up. It felt scary but it a good way crossing it.
Pretty long way with many steps. The bridge is really cool.
We went from the Dawson Fall Visitor Center to the stratford Plateau on a sunny morning. Duration approx. One hour. On the whole way you have a great view and on the way back necessarily cross the bridge.
Nice little bridge, not very high and big but right next you have pools of water .. So cool After, I must admit, whether there or not this bridge ... It's the same ... ^ ^
Nice bridge, a good height but the floor of the bridge is lined with planks of wood large enough to feel comfortable. Did the loop Wilkie pools, plateau, enchanted forest in a little over 3h. Lots of steps and small stream crossings down enchanted forest but no need to take shoes off.
The bridge is nice but the walk is really nothing extraordinary. A little elevation but not very complicated.
It’s a beautiful walk to the bridge. We also walked on enchanted walk, really beautiful!
Have a good walk through the forest and the rivers. Very accessible level with a bit of unevenness actually, but taking its time nothing insurmountable for people in "normal" physical condition. We did the walk in 3 hours, keeping the swing bridge for the end (so first the Wilkies pools, then the Stratford Plateau, then a bit of Enchanted track before coming back through the swing bridge). I think it is easier to get offset in this direction. Some trunks across the trail this week ... Maybe a survivor of the hurricane Debbie that could not be evacuated yet?
Absolutely worth the walk! It took us 40min to get there and you got a great view on the mountain's top!
