Plenty of space and able to find even ground in the car park. North was closed so we stayed at South. Very windy / lot of gust through the night. There was too much cloud cover in the morning to really have any sort of view. If you can brave the gust and the cold, nice place to stay. If the clouds are away, it would be amazing spot and worth limited sleep (bc of wind) Felt very safe though

This spot offers a beautiful view with plenty of space and a pretty clean bathroom. Only thing to be aware of is that since it’s on a plateau, it can get pretty windy, so we ended up heading back down to the spot lower into the trees for the night since the wind was pretty strong when we were here.

Sleeping possibility with nice view, toilets not so clean

The best parking place around Mt. Taranaki. Quiet and with a nice view for the sunset and the sunrise. Perfect place to start the walk to reach the top of the mountain
