Just beautiful! I felt like I was standing on the edge of the world. Walk to this lookout is relatively flat from the Stony Bay end with a final 5min climb to the lookout, from Fletcher’s Bay end it is more undulating and crosses farm land, but still with gorgeous scenic views.

From Stony Bay, a good hour of walking, very easy. Unfortunately for us, it was raining and the sight was not crazy blow ... But I'm sure that in good weather, it must be beautiful!

Totally worth the extra 5 minutes! Gorgeous 360° views of the bays!

Just go there if the weather is nice.

The route from Fletcher Bay to Stony Bay is 10km long. The lookout is pretty much in the middle. The path from Fletcher Bay is hillier and therefore more strenuous, but much nicer because you always have a wonderful view over the sea and the hills and you can still go down to the sea once (it is stated as 2 hours). The path between Stony Bay and the lookout, however, is very easy, but always in the forest with no view (1 1/2 hours). The lookout itself offers a magnificent 360 degree view! We were there and back in 6 hours including breaks. But would only recommend Fletcher-Lookout and back.

The distances are estimated wrong: it's a 2-3 hour walk from Fletcher Bay Campground. From the 7km remote Port Jackson it sure is much more.
