We went to the campsite at night and it felt a bit sketchy and there were few cars which were very weird. And the vibe was completely off, felt very scary. We left the site immediately.
Disaster! There are a lot of weird people who lives here. A lot of waste. The toilets are very far away. I didn't feel safe.
Good Place for a night. Gates didnt close and we were more than 6. Security didnt Care about that. Public toilets close at night and open at around 4.30am. You have to leave at 9. City Council came by and took pictures of the liscense platesat 10am.
There are people who live there, came a car and offered us drugs
Popular location with lots of other campers using it as well.
Good location and used this campsite throughout summer and most of fall, although recent toilets have been locked at night and security come by every night to log license plate. frequent community patrols also giving an uneasy feeling of contantly being observes
Very good camp, with plenty of parking space (+-20 seats) We asked the Hamilton department about the 6 locations indicated for motorhomes => these are actually intended for vehicles more imposing than a van. In the evening, the place is very quiet and pleasant. There are also clean toilets just 2-3 minutes walk away, as well as garbage cans available on site. I recommend this camp without hesitation!
Felt really sketchy so we had to leave. We also didn’t like that we were locked in.
Good location, however the toilets advertised on the park maps are locked. There are public toilets about 10 mins away in the park but all three were let’s just stay not usable and I assume never get cleaned.
Lots of space for campers, there’s an allocated section of the car park so a lot more space than previous reviews stated. Toilets are a little bit of a walk away but that’s alright, they’re really clean in comparison to other free camps!! Great phone signal, I’d stay here again.
