Old buildings and Not very cosy. Would not recommand it. Too expensive compared with others sites of a much better standard. No wifi and no waste dump.

Decent stay over spot for one night, small and quiet. Showers and toilet were average but it was $55 for two adults on a powered spot. The lady in the office was polite and helpful. Tavern up the road is a good spot, friendly owner.

We stayed for one night. The kitchen is tidy and solid; the showers are clean but not particularly modern, which didn’t bother us. Value for money was okay. Down by the beach, you can go for a short walk.

I really enjoyed this place; the manager is lovely and welcoming. The campsite is rustic, not very big, but pleasant and clean. The kitchen is always in use! However, there are indeed set times for the showers and the kitchen.

A bit expensive, was 40 nzd for 2 people in an unpowered site, but it was nice and quiet, and the facilities was great! The owner seemed nice, not sure why the other comments are saying he's rude.

We had a cabin for one night. It wasn't very clean (cobwebs in the corners) and not very lovingly arranged or designed (same for the kitchen). I was told to use the men's bathroom and showers because there was mantainence stuff like ladders in the bathrooms (could have just been moved to the side). Owner was ok.

Very strange owner, particularly and omni present! NO HOT WATER IN TOILETS!!!! Hot tap was shut off, how mean was that!! Go early if you want a hot shower too, the water runs out. Kitchen adequate but grubby, sign on door says kitchen closed from 9pm and - get this - TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF!!! What a joke, couldn't wait to get put of this place.could smell his septic tank too
