On the eastern side of the rugged Hunua Ranges, Waharau extends from the range to the coast. Enjoy farmland, river banks and forest for camping, picnics, walking and mountain biking. Facilities at this camp include: caravan power points, flush toilets, cold water showers. Camp usually closed during winter due to ground being too boggy. Park gates open 8am-9pm in summer, 8am-7pm in winter.
