Good parking lot. 5 places available, which fill quickly. Water fountain. Toilet closes at 8 pm and opens at 8 am. Mcdonalds close by is open until 11 pm. Quiet at night.

Camped there last night, the toilets are alright, were open at 8pm and 8am. Idk if it closes during the night. It felt kinda safe to be here with 4 other vans.

Come on guys, if you stay somewhere and it has no reviews, leave a review to help other backpackers/van lifers out. This place was fine. There’s 5 spots for vans on the right hand side of the parking lot. All 5 were full and there was one other camper parked outside the designated area. There’s 1 bathroom and it was open when I went pee around 9:30pm but this morning at 7am it was closed.

Quiet place with toilets but they close at 9 pm and were not open the morning after before we had to leave for work The atmosphere were however very strange, a lot of people comes and goes, all night long. Ok for one night.

Not a bad place by any means. Toilets close at 8 or 9 pm. There is no sign about it so was a bit unexpected.

Nice place. 5 parking spaces with a bathroom near. When we arrived the toilets were very clean, but after some teenagers and other visitors it became a mess. We slept well as this is very quiet. Received a friendly visit of a ranger with no problem.

Nice to go and spend the day in the park if it’s sunny. We were going to camp here, but read the comments and felt a little uncomfortable there anyway, so we left to go to Paengaroa Domain.

Nice spot in little park. Ok for one night. Playground for kids, but public toilet is disgusting. Go to Mc Donald‘s just 500m, open till 11 pm.

The toilets are closed in the early morning forced to move before hiring. Clean but limited to 10min did not hang out! ;) A lot of children and noise. Quite a few places.
