Owners are super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Amenities were clean and tidy. Kids loved the games room with ping pong, pool, and fuzeball. The owners were new and in the process of giving the place a freshen up. We'll definitely stop in again to see what it becomes! By far the cheapest powered site on our south island adventure, and up there with one of our favourites!
Dave the host was really nice! 36$ for unpowered site. Small and cute place, Clean toilet, hot shower with no timer but water pressure is something weak. Good place to stay before go Mt. Sunday
Nice little spot. Very peaceful and quiet. Laundry was easy and the bathrooms were very clean. Stayed on our way to Mt Sunday.
Lovely spot for our first night in the campervan, friendly host who stayed open for a late check in. Clean kitchen and bathroom area. Little pub down the road.
A nice place to stop. Friendly staff (and friendly co-campers). No wifi other than outside the office, but cellular coverage is ok. Facilities are a bit dated but do just what they should do. $38 per night for 2 adults and a campervan.
One of the best campsites in New Zealand for the price. The welcome is warm, the pitches are grassy and not too close together, there's a fully equipped and clean cooking area, clean toilets, hot showers, and a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer. $26 for 2 people without electricity. Absolutely fantastic! 👍🏽
Beautiful family campground! The showers are free and super clean. $36 for two people and a fully serviced site.
SUCH a lovely place, and so quiet! The sites are all grassed, and facilities are older but are very clean. Hot showers included in the price of a site, kitchen is fully stocked with all cutlery, pans, pots ect. Laundry is $4. The owner is so lovely and recommended a lot of lovely hiking and walking trails. Small family owned place, but we felt very very safe. The camp was quiet until 9:30am, even with kids during the school holidays. Really well priced ($26 for unpowered) for what you get!
Nice campsite in beautiful surroundings and with excellent amenities (including games room and pub nearby). Great value @ $26 for 2 in an unpowered camper The owner was very friendly and offered several suggestions of things to do in the local area. We would, without hesitation, have stayed more nights if we had more time to explore WiFi signal not great, so do not plan to work from this site
A well priced campsite that could be improved with some overdue maintainance. Facilities are good but it could really do with a lick of paint. We were here three years ago and it desperately needed it then. Despite this, the prices are good and we would come back again.
