Hard to see from the water but photo provided by this website was helpful. Difficult to get to camp ground due to access structure being taken out when the area had a small slip. Lift kayaks up off the stones. Once settled in, it’s lovely place to stay!

This tent site is at the end of a small walk from Mahau Sound that passes a detour to the top of the head and great views. It takes about 40 minutes.
