It is a quiet place, but went straight back, there was no network and we felt a bit uncomfortable there...
Beautiful old school domain, so happy these places still exist, toiletpaper in de loo, watertap, grass mowed short, super quiet, lovely. Thanx!
The overall feeling of the camping area was very unpleasant. We didn’t stay there overnight. The toilets were very dirty, and the buildings were abandoned. The only good thing was a flock of sheep.
Not a great stop here, only plus is that it's free. There's a lot of space to set up camp but the area feels pretty run down and dodgy. Had two other cars with us there and never saw a soul. The tennis court nearby is deserted and the bathrooms had flush toilets but we never used them as they were barely standing and there was all sorts of dirt and foliage strewn around the place. No service for miles around, we left first thing in the morning. Wouldn't recommend but it is a place to sleep.
Nice spot out of the way! There’s a gate at the entrance (to keep all the sheep in!) that you can just open and close yourself, no lock. Plenty of space to camp, bathrooms are fine, just not sure if the waters good to drink. There’s no service there, so plan for that. Sheep roam around in the space, but are quite skiddish so you won’t be able to get close. Good free spot for a night if you don’t have a self enclosed camper!
Beautiful spot amongst the mature trees - all flat and heaps of room. Highly recommend.
Back of beyond but a super spot, nothing but nature and freedom.
Lovely and peacefull spot, really few bugs, many sheeps. WC are clean. Just follow the "wc" sign to find the place, you have to open a barrier manually to access :)
Lovely big flat domain. Flush toilets. No cell phone coverage. Good TV reception. Very guite. Thank you Alfredton
Good place to stop. Not a lot to see or do but serves a purpose. Flushing toilets.
