Quiet spot. Was a bit out of our way but we liked it for the authentic camping feel. We were one of two groups there at this time of year (other group was quite large - maybe 3-4 families). Toilets pretty clean and well maintained.

Wonderful little spot. Quiet with lovely stream nearby. Spotted a couple of trout. Recommend if traveling through towards Akitio.

Another fantastic spot, had a swim in the cristal clear river (beautiful) quiet, no street lights, huge grass area to park in summer or on gravel by club house in winter, toilets were open, very tight entrance it was a two point turn in our old 9mtr bus but we made it with room to spare (large 5th wheelers might struggle) but we think it's another hidden gem..... The Happy Wanderers.....

Parked behind the pub "country club" as the locals called it. The grass domain is very di6ft and you'll get stuck after any amount of rain. Only really suits small campers as tight entry and exit.
