It's not really a campsite. It's more of a parking area for beach access. There are no signs indicating whether or not overnight parking is permitted. It's very pretty nonetheless, with restrooms nearby.

Beautiful location with a great view, however the toilets were really very dirty, almost unusable.

Absolutely stunning spot, such an underrated place, quite far out from anything like shops but there’s one cafe, the bathrooms were not clean at all and the ground wasn’t the flattest

Beautiful spot facing the water, very quiet and calm. We were the only one parked there for the night, but around 12am we heard some people coming with a car and started talking a bit loudly, but they left eventually. The toilet wasn’t the cleanest but they were ok.

Lovely spot facing the estuary with enough room for 3 campers between 2 houses. Very secluded, quite a gem. We love it here. One minute walk to the toilets.. no light at night

No sign or anything. A bit muddy after heavy rain, and not fully flat. Very close to a calm beach, and only a few minutes walk from surfing beach. Toilets are a tiny walk towards the beach - clean and have a light. Beautiful area - ok spot

A great secluded place. An adventurous road leads here but you are rewarded with an almost deserted beach with a fabulous view. Toilets on site were okay, not particularly clean.

Lovely place, very calm! If you‘re looking for a place to rest and relax, it’s the perfect place for you!

Fabulous little place, great view of the estuary and 100m walk from the surf beach. Flanked by two private homes (both friendly!). No shops anywhere in the vicinity so come with everything you need. You can walk over the footbridge to Pataua South; over Christmas and New Year the campground has a shop for basic needs. Probably a 4-5 k (pleasant) walk round trip. No vehicular access from Pataua North. Stayed 2 nights and loved it.
