I think the camping site is great. For $25 you get hot showers, a kitchen, a lounge with TV, Wifi and you can charge your devices. The owner is nice and Mark and Shane are super funny and friendly! I arrived with a Spanish buddy and stayed another night there alone. I felt safe and taken care of as a solo traveling German woman :)

Great campsite and best value for money in Paihia! $25 for lovely hot showers, toilets, fully equipped kitchen, nice communal seating area, washers and wifi too. Ed is friendly and kind, felt like a great safe spot for a few nights. Road not too loud, not far from beach and shops, flat ground, just bring cash to pay. Thanks Ed!

It was a goofy whimsical vibe. I would not stay here as a solo female traveler… Nice hot shower, and a cute kitchen area (bring your own plates, utensils and knives though) Wifi worked great.

This little campground has offered me a great spot to stay for about a week The facilities were clean and functional, thanks to our friendly Marc, he let me borrow some cleaning gear and was very helpful Special mention for Shane who helped me working on my van Don’t hesitate, this place is gold !

Basic but clean facilities. WiFi, hot shower, cash only! Mark made our experience extra memorable with recommendations and fun conversation. The house is cool too, you can leave your our painting on the walls

The people were welcoming and friendly but $50 for two people is too much for what you get. A good nearby caravan park was $42 for much cleaner better conditions.

We had a good stay for 1 month. We were welcomed by Mark (our star❤️), there is a small house with kitchen, bathroom x2 and living room. There is also Wi-Fi. Only small drawback, 4G is not crazy and a lot of humidity, but above all the owner of the place and his friends and some residents of the camp in permanent residence, which can give rise to a sense of insecurity in the camp. The people are very kind and willing to help in case of a problem.

It does have everything you need: a kitchen, toilets, and showers, but it's very dirty. The campsite is well located, but personally, I found the atmosphere odd. 25 NZD for one night is very expensive for what it is.

Really nice spot and very accommodating. I came down for Waitangi Day so knew the area would be busy. Got to it with no vacancy, but the site manager was so incredibly nice that he let me squeeze in. Only place in the area not to hike their prices up either. Nice kitchen, clean showers, close walk into town

Mark the site manager was great - welcoming, friendly and fun. Perfect spot close to town/beach. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities: only thing to note is bathrooms became quite steamy otherwise no complaints. Felt very welcome by fellow campers/locals. Would definitely recommend as reasonably priced for the fab atmosphere and facilities.
