When I arrived, there was a sign prohibiting camping. Since there are many neighbors, I didn't stay. The place is incredible, though! 😍 Be aware, however, that the beach is considered a road and cars sometimes speed by.

We freedom camped here January 2021 for two nights. Amazing sunset at the beach, well worth staying for! We were the only people on the entire beach as far as the eye could see. So close to Kai Iwi lakes for daytime enjoyment. The site is a bit bumpy, hard to park flat. Didn’t use the toilets there, just used our own.

Nothing special, long-drop toilets and a nice walk in the beach after crossing the stream. Good and quiet spot.

Toilet in the middle of nowhere.. The access to the beach was stopped by a creck, with fecal warning.. Just a place for surfers. We didn't stay.

A camper was here. Composting toilet is without water. We must go on the beach but is a small river in front of it. It is there a sign that says that swimming can make you sick.

Unfortunately this place was closed :(
