Beautiful forest work, very well maintained, quiet and takes about 30-45 mins. Great stop.
Loverly spot, very quiet, good walk, will see if we see kiwis tonight.
Recommendable.
Nice bush walk (loop track, 30-40 minutes) with loads of very old Kauri Trees. At night this forest is a great place to spot kiwis. Bring a torch with a red light, as normal white lights scares the kiwis and even if you spot them they'll run away! Be patient and extremely quiet, we saw one kiwi!

Nice short walk. There is a lot to see along the way.
Really nice walk, probably the nicest kauri walk there is. You can observe Kiwi birds at night.
Yes well worth the 10 minute drive off main road, beautiful 30 minute flat walk, if heading to Tane Mahuta carry on up metal road through Donnelly's Crossing, we did it in camper and yes metal but scenic and quiet.
It's really a beautiful walk through real kauri forest. Highly recommended also in the day time. The trees make you feel small and young and insignificant (in a good way).
Beautiful little walk through the bush ( ca. 30min loop). We were lucky and saw two Kiwi’s on our walk ( around 9pm)
